Woman Paralyzed After Unknown Man Drops Her During Buckhead Bar Assault

The man has not yet been found.

A woman is paralyzed and in the hospital after an unknown man picked her up and then dropped her on her head during an assault at a Buckhead bar. The man has not been found or arrested.

According to police reports obtained by Buckhead Patch, the 38-year-old Atlanta woman was out with friends at Wet Willie's on Aug. 3 when a man the woman did not know came up and grabbed her by her waist. The unknown man tried to lift the woman up in the air, even as the woman repeatedly told the man "no."

The man lifted the woman and then dropped her on her head before falling on top of her, according to the report. The woman was paralyzed, unable to move any of her limbs and was transported to Atlanta Medical Center for treatment.

The incident was reported to Atlanta Police on Aug. 6 by the victim's sister. A suspect has not yet been identified in the incident, according to police.
