One suspect in the Monday morning crime is still on the loose, Atlanta Police say.

The Atlanta Police Department has arrested one suspect in a Monday morning shooting in Buckhead, but is still looking for a second.

At this point, police say that two black men, one of whom was armed, fired on the couple, hitting the woman in the arm and killing the dog. The two men then tried to rob the couple and force their way into their room. Several shots were fired into the room, 11 Alive reports.

The woman has been taken to the hospital to recover from the gunshot wound in her arm.

Atlanta police have one man in custody and have retrieved a weapon they believe was used in the attack. The suspect on the run is described a slim black male with short dreadlocks.
