Atlanta Food Truck Park Back 'Up and Running.'

The park had originally been closed down due to permit issues not related to food safety.

on Howell Mill Road in Buckhead is back in business. A representative from the park told Buckhead Patch Thursday night that it is now "up and running" after a recent temporary shutdown due to permit issues unrelated to food safety.

A “Take-Two – Grand Opening Party” is being planned, owners say.

City Councilman Kwanza Hall helped organize a city wide meeting between City Hall and the permits division, which made it easier for the food trucks to get permitted, the rep said.

“Thanks to the help of our friends (Councilman) Kwanza Hall, the Atlanta Police Department, City Hall and the Atlanta Street Food Coalition, your favorite food trucks are now acquiring the proper vending permits for Atlanta Food Truck Park,” the group’s website says. “Over the next couple of days more and more food trucks will make appearances at the AFTP!”
