Buckhead Heritage Society President Files Suit Against Street Renaming

Wright Mitchell represents Atlanta Preservation Center, others in legal action against Atlanta City Council, AJC reports

Buckhead Heritage Society President Wright Mitchell, an attorney, has filed a lawsuit against the Atlanta City Council for its vote to rename a downtown Atlanta streets, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Mitchell filed the lawsuit on behalf of the Atlanta Preservation Center and individuals against the Atlanta City Council's vote this week to rename Harris Street for renowned architect John Portman, the newspaper said.
