Holiday Schedule for Buckhead Solid Waste Collections
All pickups to be delayed for a day because of Christmas, New Year's holidays
The Christmas and New Year's holidays will delay city of Atlanta solid waste and recycling collections, according to the Department of Public Works website.
No collections will be made on Monday, Dec. 26, with collections to resume Dec. 27. All collections that week will be made on the day after the regular day. The special schedule continues through Friday, Dec. 30.
The official New Year's holiday falls on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, and no collections will be made that day, resuming Jan. 3. The holiday collection schedule will continue through Friday, Jan. 6, with pickups the day after the regular day.
