Lewis Receives Apology From Occupy Atlanta

Leaders of the Occupy Atlanta operation in a letter to East Atlanta Patch have apologized to Rep. John Lewis for not allowing him to address the group last week.

The group invited the congressman and civil rights leader to speak to the group, which is protesting U.S. economic policies.

Last week, to speak at Woodruff Park downtown until the group had completed its "agenda." Lewis said he had another engagement and couldn't wait that long, and departed. A video of the incident, posted by conservative groups, has become a You Tube sensation.
