MARTA Track Work Changes Weekend Rail Schedules

Even with the removal of tolls on GA 400, taking MARTA might be wiser until motorists figure out new traffic patterns and avoiding the orange barrels.

It's time for more MARTA rail line track work this weekend, so you'd better plan on your weekend trips to take more time.

MARTA will modify rail service on the Red and Gold Lines on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24. Red Line and Gold Line trains will run on a 24-minute schedule. Service between Lindbergh Center and Airport Stations will be every 12 minutes.  Both lines will run from North Springs and Doraville Stations south to the Airport until the end of revenue service.

On Saturday, Nov. 23, at Buckhead Station, all trains will board on the southbound platform.

On Sunday, Nov. 24 at Buckhead Station, all trains will board on the northbound platform.

Both the Blue and Green Lines will operate every 20 minutes. Green Line trains will operate only between Bankhead and Ashby Stations.
