Rising Gas Prices Hurting You?

Patch poll seeks your thoughts on increases

Gasoline prices are expected to rise to their highest amount ever, threatening the economic recovery. According to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article, prices could rise above $4 a gallon by spring.

The cheapest price for regular is $3.55 a gallon at the Quick Mart at 2239 Cheshire Bridge Drive, according to the Buckhead Patch Traffic and Gas tab.

Buckhead has a lot of folks who commute to work here from outside the city, so we thought we'd ask how the rising prices are affecting your pocketbook. Partcipate in the Patch poll and let us know.

As prices rise, the Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association reminds commuters that it has an incentive program to promote carpooling and other forms of transportation. A commuter can earn up to $3 a day, $100 for a 90-day period, for giving up solitary traveling. See www.batma.org for details.
