VIDEO: Ga. 400 Trail Plans Discussed

Officials with City of Atlanta Parks and Buckhead Heritage Society talk about the benefits of the Ga. 400 trail and some key components that will make it unique.

In the video, George Dusenbury from City of Atlanta Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs discusses plans to increase park space in Buckhead — which he calls one of the least "parked" areas in the city. Also, of the reveals how important historic sites will be incorporated along the trail.

More recently, Gov. Nathan Deal announced the approval of $750,000 to go toward the Ga. 400 trail.

Although the trail will be implemented by Livable Buckhead, the money was granted to the . The Ga. 400 trail is one of 12 infrastructure projects being funded by the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank, through which only community improvement districts are eligible for grant funding.
