Video Update: Ann Romney Appears in Buckhead

Ann Romney, the wife of GOP delegate leader Mitt Romney, and gave a brief talk boosting his presidential campaign.

Mrs. Romney, who also was at an event in Alpharetta, made the appearance for the opening of Romney's Georgia campaign headquarters. Here is video of her visit to Buckhead.

As CBS-Atlanta reported, Mrs. Romney recounted seeing Barbara Bush in Houston. Mrs. Bush, the mother of President George W. Bush and wife of President George H.W, Bush, said the 2012 election "is the most important of her lifetime." Mrs. Romney also said Barbara Bush gave the Romney campaign the maximum personal contribution allowed.

The British magazine The Economist also had a take on Mrs. Romney's appearance, in a blog about the GOP campaign.
