A six-bedroom, ten-bathroom, 12,075 sq. ft. home in Buckhead became the top seller in the Atlanta real estate market this year when it was sold for over $6 million.
The home, at 2900 Andrews Dr. was sold on May 15 for $6.3 million, slightly lower than Zillow's estimated sale price of $6,356,690. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, it was originally listed for $7.95 million in December and was valued at $14.5 million in 2009.
What does $6.3 million get you? Well, apart from the home, the three-acre property contains a patio, a pool, a garden, and a 195 sq. ft. garage. The nearest schools to the home are North Atlanta High School, Brandon Elementary School, and Sutton Middle School.
The next most valuable home sale this year occurred at 4010 Powers Ferry Road, near the North Fulton Golf Course. This home sold for just under $3.5 million.
