Anna Bush Named Pace Volleyball Coach

Longtime Marist mentor won 2006 state championship

Anna Bush will come to Pace Academy as the head volleyball coach after 11 years at Marist, six as head coach. 

Bush, who will also be Pace's athletic department administrative assistant, won a state championship at Marist in 2006 and was named AAAA coach of the year, according to the Pace announcement. She took Marist to four state championship appearances and compiled a 237-55 record, an .812 winning percentage.

A graduate of George Washington University and a member of the school's athletic Hall of Fame as a volleyball standout, Bush has 32 years of combined playing and coaching experience.

She resides in Atlanta along with her husband of 22 years, Phil. Their daughter Cory is a freshman at Pace.
