Supply lists for all grade levels at E. Rivers Elementary School are posted in the PDF document to the right and can be found here.

Additionally, E. Rivers will be hosting their "Celebration of Learning" open house event on Friday, August 3 at 9 a.m.

The "Kiddos" after school program will be taking registration and payment that day and provide a parent orientation at noon.

The Sarah Smith PTA is no longer selling pre-packaged school supplies.  Each family will be responsible for buying supplies for their students. Students should have school supplies with them for the first day of school or can bring them on Friday, August 3 to the "Celebration of Learning."

The "Celebration of Learning" (COL) will be held August 3 from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on the intermediate campus and 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on the primary campus.

Other important dates and information to keep in mind are:

  • A Kindergarten meet and greet will be held Thursday, August 2, from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. on the Primary Campus Lower Playground.
  • Teacher assignments are not available before the COL. Parents are asked to bring their calendar and cash/check book to the COL, as agendas for grades 2nd through 5th will be on sale for $7.00. Each student from those grades is required to purchase one.

School Supplies are purchased through the PTA for Kindergarten and First Grade. The cost is $100 ($65 for Instructional Materials and $35 for School Supplies). These are additional materials that teachers want the children to have that are not covered by APS. If you have not purchased your child's supplies for the 2012-2013 school year, you can order them at Celebration of Learning (COL) on Friday, August 3, at the Primary Campus. Or you can take a check by the Primary Office.

School supply lists for each grade level can be found here.

The Aug. 3 COL will  be 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Primary Campus and 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Main Campus.

Special note: No rolling backpacks are allowed at the Primary Campus.

While Garden Hills hasn't made their supply list available online, staff said copies of the list are available at the main office for any parent still needing it. Office hours are weekdays 8 .m. to 3 p.m.

The Garden Hills Open House event will begin at 9 .m. on August. 3.
