Black History Harvest Awards
The Galloway School will honor internationally renowned orator, motivator, and philanthropist Dr. Bernice A. King, author of “Hard Questions, Heart Answers,” founder of First Kingdom Management, and second daughter of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., at the school’s third annual Black History Harvest Awards.
Part of Galloway’s celebration of Black History Month, the Harvest Awards recognize individuals whose work sustains and inspires the human spirit, impacting a range of communities and effecting change locally and globally. Each year, the Harvest Awards honor an individual from the Atlanta community, a member of the Galloway community and a Galloway student. The Galloway Community Leadership Award and the Galloway Student Community Award recipients will be announced at the event.
A seated dinner will be served at 7 p.m., followed by the program at 8 p.m.
