RESCHEDULED: Garden Hills Elementary Talent Show

The Talent Show has been tentatively rescheduled for May 16th or 17th.  (The original date of February was too close to CRCT testing.)    So mark your calendars!!

Most importantly, we need LOTS of volunteers to make this happen. Below is a list of opportunities - all broken down to make it easier to see what you are getting into.  This is such a fun event and is only a commitment of a few days or weeks.  

1. DIRECTOR/COORDINATOR to oversee this!! You would have lots of guidance and direction, and lots of help.  Rebecca Galla-Jones has committed to this (with Heather Martin consulting) , WE NEED A CO-CHAIR
2. Music Coordinator -  getting all acoustic versions of music from the children, putting in on an iPod, coordinating with sound director
3. Concessions Coordinator - planning concessions and coordinating donations, recruiting help and selling food the night of the event   Wallace Underwood
4. Decorating Committee - stage decorations, signs and table for student judges
5. Judges Script - creative person to help write the script for our student judges 
6. Playbill Committee - create and print our playbill   Margaret Smith
7. Rehearsal day Coordinator - help and recruit helpers (4 or 5) to corral children during rehearsals
8. Night of Volunteer Coordinator - recruit and help with lineup, makeup & hair night of the show
9. DVD Coordinator - coordinate with person who is creating DVD, take orders the night of show, and oversee distribution of DVDs 
10. Talent Coordinator - helping students with their acts during rehearsals (if you have any musical, singing or dancing talent or can keep kids focused on practicing)
11. Flyer Coordinator - help print and distribute flyers announcing talent show, flyers for those participating  
12. Coordinator of Tryouts - help director during school hours to judge talent and recruit judges
