TakeAimAtCancer.org Presents: An Evening with Dr. Edward Kim

Dr. Edward Kim will discuss Biomarker-Integrated Approaches of Targeted Therapy for Lung Cancer Elimination (BATTLE), a set of ground-breaking trials taking place at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson). BATTLE has the potential to affect every type of malignancy, and is proving that targeted therapy may one day change the standard of care for cancer treatment. Dr. Kim leads the personalized therapy program (BATTLE) and is Associate professor of Medicine, Chief of the Section of Head and Neck Medical Oncology, and Director of Clinical Research Operations in the Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology at MD Anderson. He studies novel targeted agents in the treatment and prevention settings and has expertise in lung, head and neck as well as thymic cancers. Dr. Kim has published more than 100 original articles, reviews and abstracts in medical journals.
