Pritchett Named Football Coach at North Atlanta
NFL veteran moves to Buckhead high school from Washington

NFL veteran Stanley J. Pritchett is the new head football coach at , taking over a program considered on the rise.
Prichett was head football coach at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta for the last few years, acording to the North Atlanta website. Under his tenure, Washinton had three winning records and made the state playoffs.

An Atlanta native and APS alum, Pritchett graduated in history from the University of South Carolina and was drafted in the fourth round by the Miami Dolphins. He had a nine-year NFL career as a running back for the Dolphins, Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.
He is the son of two career Atlanta educators. His father, Stanley J. Pritchett Sr., is the president of Morris Brown College, leading efforts to revitalize the historic black school.

Pritchett replaces Brian Montgomery, who left North Atlanta to go to Shiloh. The Warriors had a 7-3 record, but fell short of making the state playoffs. A strong senior class returns this season, according to the school
