Patch Pic: Students Collect Discarded Tires in Buckhead Creeks
The clean-up is part of the Buckhead Coalition's recent partnership with Georgia Tech.
Kicking off a Georgia Tech research program, students have pulled the first fifty tires from Buckhead creek beds to be used for the thermal mass walls in its Aquaponics Experiment.
The Buckhead Coalition has pledged $2,500 for the clean-up procedure.
