Upcoming School Renovation Projects to Affect N. Atlanta, Sutton, and Rivers in 2013-2014

Atlanta Public Schools has just released a list of projects that will affect schools in the 2013-2014 school year.


North Atlanta High School, Sutton Middle School, and Rivers Elementary School students will all be affected by ongoing renovations and construction in the upcoming 2013-2014 school year, according to the TalkUp APS blog.

TalkUp APS, has created a full list of schools that will have renovation and construction work done during the next school year.   The only school on the list that is actually finishing up their work and will be open to students again, will be the new North Atlanta campus.

According to the list, North Atlanta High School students and staff will be, "permanently relocated to the new North Atlanta High School campus located at 4111 Northside Parkway in Fall of 2013."

Students and Staff at Sutton Middle School, "will permanently relocate to what will soon be the former North Atlanta High School, located at 2175 Northside Parkway," says APS.

Finally, Rivers Elementary School students and staff will, "temporarily relocate to Sutton Middle School during construction of the new Rivers Elementary facility."
