Youngsters, parents attend 'celebration of learning' events at Buckhead APS campuses
The age-old tradition of youngsters finding out who their teachers will be for the new year was re-enacted Friday at Buckhead public schools.
Parents greeted each other and caught up on summer trips and activities. They made the rounds to sign up for PTA and after school programs.
At in North Buckhead, classroom rosters were posted outside on the windows, and Moms searched for their child's name, and, of course, the all-important news of who classmates would be.
