Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital Founder Earns President's Award

Duffy Jones, DVM of Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital was recently honored by the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association with a President’s Award, given in recognition of invaluable contributions and dedication to the organization.

A board member of the professional organization, Dr. Jones also serves as a resource to numerous animal rescue groups. He founded Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital of Atlanta  2005. In addition to running the clinic, Dr. Jones teaches ultrasound courses to veterinarians on a consultative basis.

He has been an expert blogger for WebMD and Victoria Stilwell's Positively, and has been a guest veterinarian on Animal Planet's It's Me or the Dog.

His prior experience includes four years as a staff veterinarian in Cherokee County, serving at several local emergency clinics and an internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Roswell. Dr. Jones received his DVM from Tufts University Veterinary School. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.

A native Atlantan, Dr. Jones grew up in Buckhead’s Peachtree Heights East neighborhood. He attended Christ the King Elementary School and Marist High School. He lives in Buckhead with his wife Courtney, two sons and a daughter, their dog Rosie, cat Meatball, and guinea pig Hobbs.
