Summer Tree Identification Workshop

Knowing your trees can be helpful in hiking, birding, and landscaping your yard. Atlanta Audubon Society (AAS) is happy to host Chris Showalter, Fernbank Science Center’s resident ornithologist, for a morning of tree identification. Chris will conduct a short lecture in the AAS classroom and then take to the field at Blue Heron Nature Preserve. Learn tips and techniques to identification during months when trees are leafed out. Participants will receive a copy of Peterson’s Field Guide to Eastern Trees as a part of the workshop.

$40 AAS members/ $45 Non-members

Limited spaces are available, so secure
your spot now by downloading an AAS registration form from this website or at www.atlantaaudubon.org. Send your form with payment to the address on the form. For more info on the workshop, contact Nikki Belmonte by email atlantaauduboned@gmail.com or by phone (678) 973-2437.
