Syracuse Fans Welcome the Orange to Atlanta for Final Four

The Syracuse men's basketball team was greeted by fans, alumni and a marching band as they arrived to town for Saturday's semi-final game against Michigan.

The Madness arrived to Atlanta on Tuesday.

The Final Four basketball teams to make it through the NCAA tournament started making their way to Atlanta for the semi-finals and final games.

Syracuse University alumni and fans warmly welcomed the Orange to the Buckhead hotel where the team will stay at least through Saturday. The Shiloh Marching Brigade from Snellville played horns and drums as the college players and coaches walked up the stairs to be greeted by a sea of orange.

Players including Rakeem Christmas, James Southerland and C.J. Fair stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with their supporters. 

The Orange face off against the Michigan Wolverines Saturday at 8:49pm at the Georgia Dome. Tip-off immediately follows the Wichita State-Louisville game. The winner of the Saturday games will play in the championship game Monday evening.
