Admit. You want to see Barry Manilow at Chastain Amphitheatre July 29. You’ll pretend you’re just doing something cheesy with your friends, but deep down, you’ll be loving Mandy.

We’re dedicating this week’s Style Files to Chastain – a summertime tradition for the Buckhead crowd. Even if you can’t make the Barry show (we’ll miss you), there are a number of other quality acts on the calendar including the Allman Brothers, Ledisi, Anthony Hamilton, Duran Duran B.B. King and Gotye.

While it no doubt annoys musicians that the entire crowd chomps on dinner during the shows, picnicking is one of the best parts of Chastain. We’re putting Crate & Barrel’s Applesiini plates in our next basket. Not only are they adorable, they’re on sale!

Since there’s no getting around the heat at Chastain, how about making your own popsicles? These insulated plastic molds, also from C&B, will help keep the pops cold and your friends happy. Google “adult popsicles” to find many boozy recipes. Emeril Lagasse’s margarita popsicles sound divine!
