2012 Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo Being Held Before Race

At the expo, runners in the Peachtree Road Race can pick up their race number and listen to seminars from fitness experts.

The 2012 Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo will be held Monday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 3 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and functions as the kick-off to the 43rd running of the . Race participants can pick-up their race number anytime during the expo, which is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center Exhibit Hall A2.  

The free expo is open to the public and will feature vendors from the health and fitness industry including running apparel and gear, nutritional products and injury prevention.

Additional highlights of the expo include running seminars on topics ranging from “For Casual Runners: 10 Tips to Improve Your Running/How to Run Your Best Peachtree” with Bart Yasso, chief running officer - Runner’s World Magazine, “Are there Issues with your Tissues? How to Handle Common Running Injuries” with Dr. Amadeus Mason and “Nutrition for Every Runner-Fueling Before, During and After Your Race” with Page Love, Sports Nutritionist RD, CSSD, to name a few.
