The North Buckhead neighborhood will have its semi-annual Mountain Way Park Conservation and Clean-Up Day Saturday, April 21.
Volunteers will be picking up trash, clearing and mulching along the shoulder of Mountain Way and pulling invasive plants in several designated areas from 9 a.m. until noon on that day.

The North Buckhead Civic Association plans to creare a park on the 8-acre site on Mountain Way beneath the Ga. 400 overpass. The park is envisioned as connecting with the planned Ga, 400 trail.
In addition, neighborhood children will run a lemonade and cookie stand at the location from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to raise money for the new Mountain Way park. Motorists are also asked to drive carefully in the area for the safety of the children and workers

Volunteers should wear long pants, and bring gloves and pruners if you have them. In addition, volunteers are needed to be trained as captains to supervise workers at the event.
