Online Lottery for Peachtree Road Race Begins at 7 a.m. Thursday
Those who wish to enter 43rd annual event on July 4 have eight days to register

Registration for the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race opens at 7 a.m. Thursday, the Buckhead-based Atlanta Track Club announced.
The online lottery for the 43rd annual race can be found at ajc.com/peachtree. Those wishing to be one of the 60,000 participants in the race have from 7 a.m. Thursday until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 22, to register online.

Entrants will receive an e-mail by Monday, March 26, informing them whether or not they were selected for the 2012 event, the track club announcment said.
