Parisian cabaret to benefit Kate's Club

Buckhead Theatre event Aug. 19 to raise funds for grief support to children, teens who have lost family member

A Parisian-themed cabaret Aug. 19 at the Buckhead Theatre will benefit Kate's Club, an Atlanta nonprofit that gives grief support to children and teens who have lost a family member.

A VIP reception will begin at 7 p.m., with the main event running from 8 p.m. to midnight, according to a news release.

Along with gourmet hors d'oeuvres and Absolut cocktails, the group's eighth-annual fundraiser will include silent auction items, mystery boxes and live music from U.S. Beat.

Proceeds from the cabaret help support all of the organization’s programs, including Camp Good Mourning (a three-day retreat at Twin Lakes), Clubhouse Saturdays, club outings and additional grief support services.
