Tension filled the air with the score tied 3 to 3 as Will Johnson led off the top of the 9th inning with an infield single. McClure walked. Johnson and McClure moved up on a sacrifice fly by Jackson Echols, but the Warriors could not get a run across. McClure took the mound and struck out one and got two Wolverines to fly out to Devin Walden (LF) and Matthew Church (RF).

Miller Grove turned a double play to quash any chance the Warriors had of scoring in the top of the 10th. McClure struck out the side in the bottom of the frame to send the game to the 11th.
