Artists Share a Menagerie and Artwork from the Soul This Weekend

A Holiday Menagerie: Works by Donald Beal, C. Dawn Davis, Chris Dolan, Helen Durant, Linda Mitchell, Alicia Rothman, Paul Tamanian, Gwen Wong, and others. And featuring "Paintings from my iPad," a new body of work by Atlanta artist Linda Mitchell, conceived on an electronic tablet. Opening reception: Friday, Nov. 22, 6-8 p.m.

HEARTWORKS: Art From the Soul: Three Atlanta artists and one from Pinehurst, NC with a strong Atlanta following, will present their first fine art show together, Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 21-23. It will showcase the combined works of Wanda Hopkins, Jessie Mackay, Cynthia Perryman and Jane Scott at the Sovereign Building in Buckhead, 3344 Peachtree Road, Suite 1050. A portion of the show’s proceeds will benefit the Youth Education Programs of the High Museum of Art.

Santa’s Reindeer Visit Buckhead: Pretty Please, a children’s boutique in Buckhead, will partner with neighbor Kazoo Toys to officially usher in the holiday season Saturday when they welcome two very special guests.  Four of Santa’s reindeer, with their sleigh, will delight children of all ages in front of the shop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23. 3716 Roswell Road, Atlanta.
