Arts in Chastain Park, Choral Guild Performs

This weekend is filled with entertainment for the season.

Artists, Artisans Gather at Chastain: The fifth annual Chastain Park Arts Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 3, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sponsored by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, it will feature 185 fine artists and artisans along the tree-lined Park Drive. Visitors will enjoy fine art and crafts, a children’s area and local food and beverage concessions including the “gourmet” food trucks. Local acoustic musicians will enliven the atmosphere.

Nike Lenox Grand Opening: Check out Nike's new Brand Experience store at Lenox Square Saturday, Nov. 2 at noon and take on the Halloween-themed, sport-inspired obstacle course set up in the parking lot directly across from the store.  Participants will navigate a maze of challenges while dodging zombies to earn Fuel for surprise rewards.  Follow @NikeATL for more info.

Choral Guild Presents Benjamin Britten Music: The Choral Guild of Atlanta presents  a concert of Benjamin Britten Music Sunday, Nov. 3, at 4 p.m. The concert at Northside Drive Baptist Church celebrates the 100th anniversary birth year of the renowned English composer. $15 per person; $12 seniors; $5 students. Hugh Laurie at The Buckhead Theater: Hugh Laurie performs in concert in Buckhead on Sunday, Nov. 3. He might be known by most Buckhead residents as that TV doctor on "House," but the actor is also a musician with his second album released earlier this year. $36 General Admission - Lower Level STANDING / Limited Seating available on Balcony Level. Doors 7 p.m. - Show begins at 8 p.m.
