Enjoy a Night for the Opera or a Fall Fling in Buckhead

The 2013 Atlanta Opera Ball: The Opera Ball, Puccini’s Palazzo, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. at the St. Regis Atlanta in Buckhead. The evening will be themed after the season’s opening production, Tosca, and will feature a gourmet dinner, dancing, and luxury items in the silent and live auctions. Sponsorships may be purchased for $3,500 (includes 10 tickets to the event) or $1,500 (includes 2 tickets). Individual event tickets are available for $350 each. North Buckhead Fall Fling: The North Buckhead Civic Association holds its annual Fall Fling Sunday, Oct. 27, from 3-6 p.m. at Mountain Way @ GA 400. Meet your neighbors, enjoy some food, juice and soft drinks and have a good time. We plan to have fun for the kids, too. Balloon sculptor, Face painter, Caricature artist, Games for kids. Live music by Russ Thomas' new band Five Long Years. Food from the Wing Factory (wings, quesadillas, hummus, etc.). Juice and soft drinks. Mountain Way will be closed to through traffic for this event.  Please walk if you can. If you drive, park on the designated sides of nearby streets. The event is free for NBCA members and a small charge for NBCA non-members (cash/check only). If you are not members, you may join when you arrive; household annual dues are just $35.

Little Nancy Creek Park Fall Concert: - The park's fall concert will feature Men Without Youth. Bring your picnic blanket and your dancing shoes on Sunday, Oct. 27, 4 to 6 p.m.
