It is great reading reviews on restaurants that you know very well. Some say the service is brusque, etc., but sometimes what goes around comes around. This place is an institution in Buckhead. It has been here 30 years now. There are personalized chair plaques on all the chairs placed there by regulars, many of which have been there for a generation. Their food is basic Mexican food, more like you might find in smaller towns in south and western Mexico. The prices are great. It is a family place and there is usually a wait at lunch and dinner. Check the hours, they close in the afternoon. And if you want good service... don't be a jerk!
