I purchased a Groupon for Invisalign treatment from Paces Dentistry in April 12. Since then I have spent 4 months attempting to actually get the aligners I paid for. During this process Dr. Tabassian and her staff did my dental impressions wrong, had me come in for a clin check that wasnt ready, essentially wasting my time, and made me wait excessive amounts of time to be seen by someone.
Every step of the way I was told I was a few weeks from getting my aligners and I completed all necessary requirements on my end to make this happen. The office, however, NEVER called me to give me status updates or move things along. It got so bad that in the past week I called every day until someone finally admitted that they didn't even have my correct phone number on file.
Finally after speaking with the Dentist yesterday she said it was unclear if I would ever receive my aligners and that Invisalign could not tell her what was wrong. After speaking with several other reputable invisalign dentists in the area and calling Invisalign directly its clear that the problem is something with her account with Invisalign, not the company itself. Perhaps she hasn't paid her account with Invisalign or is in bad standing so they cut her off; I don't know.
End result, 4.5 months of lost time, no aligners, a bunch of lies and excuses from Dr. Tabassian, and a full refund from Groupon.
NEVER EVER GO TO THIS DENTIST!
