Massell Weighs in on Randolph-Lucas House

The Buckhead Coalition President wants the house to be used as an 'Atlanta Mayor’s Mansion' for ceremonial events.

Former Atlanta Mayor and Buckhead Coalition President Sam Massell sent a letter on Friday to Hakim Hilliard, attorney for the 2500 Peachtree Condominium Association, suggesting a way to preserve the historic Buckhead Randolph-Lucas House, which is facing a possible demolition, and appease the condo owners at the same time. That house was moved and preserved when 2500 Peachtree was under construction. I believe there was some sort of agreement that the house was not to be destroyed as a part of the land deal. It was a historic house then and still is. Any use of the structure that allows it to remain in its current location would be nice to see.
