Open & Shut Buckhead: IHOP Closes Its Doors after 19 Years

Also, Sheik Burritos & Kabobs closes up shop and plans to move to Midtown.

It’s been a busy year of development for Buckhead, which has experienced the closures of major mainstays and seen signs of life at the Buckhead Atlanta development. Sheik Burritos n Kabobs closed its doors at its Piedmont location on Sunday after three years and plans to relocate to the Poncey Highland-Midtown area in the spring of 2013, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. IHOP closed its Buckhead location at 3122 Peachtree Road on Christmas Eve after 19 years in the heart of Buckhead under its most recent operators.
