Two men, one of whom was armed, robbed Fifth Third Bank on Piedmont Road Thursday afternoon.
The FBI and Atlanta police are looking for two men who robbed a bank in Buckhead Thursday afternoon, according to a report by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. One of the men brandished a semi-automatic handgun when he and a partner entered Fifth Third Bank on Piedmont Road and announced a robbery just before 4 p.m. The men escaped the scene on foot with money, although the amount remains undisclosed at this time. Descriptions of the suspects: The armed suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s. The show car made a stop at Fifth Third Bank's Lindbergh Financial Center location last week.
Matt Kenseth’s No. 17 NASCAR Ford Fusion show car made a pit stop in Buckhead last week on its tour throughout Fifth Third Bank’s 12-state footprint. Kenseth is the winner of the 2012 Daytona 500. The show car, which is an actually a retired (but still incredibly loud) NASCAR racer made up with the exact specifications of Kenseth's winning vehicle, was at Fifth Third Bank's Lindbergh Financial Center location.
