He usually plays a mix of hip-hop as well as Arabic and Spanish songs.  Further south, Newton Running, an athletic footwear store, set up a couple of tents in front of Varasano’s Pizzeria, providing beer for runners instead of water. A new map released by the AJC shows the top participating zips in Metro Atlanta, including Buckhead.

As we draw closer to the July 4 Peachtree Road Race, the biggest 10K in the world, the number of runners that can be seen along roads like W. Paces Ferry and Peachtree Road itself seems to increase with each weekend leading up to the big event. This begs the question: Just how many Buckhead residents will be participating among the estimated 60,000 runners in this year's big race? The Atlanta Journal Constitution, sponsor of the Peachtree Road Race, recently released a map showing the top participating zip codes in the metro-Atlana area.  According to the AJC's map, the top Buckhead zip codes participating are 30309, accounting for 1.77-percent and 30305, accounting for 1.48-percent of this year's participants. The 30327 zip code is …
