The two-year project is nearly completed, and a ribbon-cutting event is scheduled to celebrate the new transformation of Peachtree Road to a "complete street."
The flowers have been planted and the benches along the sidewalks are now installed. Slowly, the orange barrels are being removed. No more turning onto Peachtree Road from Lenox only to be forced to immediately merge into one lane. Yep, it's true. The Peachtree Road improvements are finally complete after two years.
