Buckhead Radio Shack Robbed at Gunpoint on Wednesday Night
A witness said the man entered the store with his face covered and showed a gun while demanding money.
Atlanta Police are investigating a robbery at the Radio Shack on Piedmont Road near Sidney Marcus Boulevard on Wednesday. According to witness statements given to the police, the suspect entered the Radio Shack at 2625 Piedmont Road with his face covered while an employee was waiting on a customer. A couple minutes after the customer left the store, the suspect walked up to the counter, showed a silver handgun and demanded money. The witness told police she gave the suspect about $200 and no large bills or stacks of bills. The suspect then made all the employees go into the back room of the store before he fled with the cash on foot.
