See How Buckhead Voted in the 2012 Presidential Election
Despite the abundance of Romney-Paul yard signs found throughout Buckhead, how exactly did Buckhead resident vote once they went to the polls?
It may seem obvious how most Buckhead residents voted in the 2012 Presidential Election as you would have been hard-pressed to find an Obama-Biden sign in their yards, but still there may be a few surprises. In fact, Republican Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle did select Buckhead as the location for his Election Night Watch Party. The Buckhead precincts closest to Midtown, like the Peachtree Hills Recration and Brighton Gardens precincts, were almost split down the middle between votes for Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama. At Brighton Gardens, 557 votes were cast for Romney, while 560 voters chose Obama. At Peachtree Hills, 837 voted for Romney and 828 picked Obama.
