Gingrich Pushes His, Cain's Campaigns

GOP presidential candidate makes stop in Buckhead

From Patch Reports GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich at a stop at his Buckhead headquarters Monday pushed his campaign and that of former CEO Herman Cain, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Gingrich said he remains confident he can win the Republican nomination and pushed the benefits of his "21st century contract with America," the newspaper said.

Romney fund-raiser held in Buckhead

His son, Josh Romney, to appear

A fund-raiser for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be held in Buckhead Wednesday night. The former Massachusetts governor is not scheduled to appear at the event, but Josh Romney, one of his five sons, will discuss the campaign. The event at the home of Ross and Sally Singletary on West Muscogee Road begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m, according to an e-mail sent to Romney supporters and the invitation. Tickets are $250 each. Romney backers were asked to register.

Rick Perry entering the race was the best thing that could of happened to Mitt Romney. The hoopla will fizzle in about 3 months max keeping other contenders at bay, then it will be to late to enter the race. Pawlenty Holds Fund-Raiser in Buckhead

Candidate appears at Cherokee Town Club

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty appeared at a fund-raising event in Buckhead Tuesday night, according an Associated Press article on The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's web site. Pawlenty's fund-raiser was at the Cherokee Town and Country Club on West Paces Ferry Road. Here is a link to the Associated Press article.
