Weekender: Party with the Past and Rock a Mustache

Always lots of great events going on in and around Buckhead, and Buckhead Patch rounds up some of the most popular, interesting or local right here in our weekly Weekender feature! Atlanta History Center's Party with the Past This is AHC's new free monthly event, designed to introduce residents to the history of Atlanta. The full name of the event is "Party With the Past: Free History, Cold Beer." That pretty much says it all. This free history series will take place at a different historic spot in the city each month. Weekender: NovemBEER Fest, Cardboard Playground-Building

Chastain Park Playground Kickoff Play Chastain will unveil a new design and announce some exciting news at its kickoff event. Bring cardboard boxes and a wagon or tricycle on which to build. Help the kids build everything from forts, sleds, rockets...and anything else they can imagine.
