Open & Shut Buckhead: Juicy Jenny Opens; Boutique Bowling Alley Coming

Juicy Jenny, Souper Jenny's new organic juice bar and vegan/ gluten free food emporium, opens Moday.  Only 33 steps away from Souper Jenny on East Andrews. The new Juicy Jenny Community Juice Bar + Superfood Emporium opens this fall just 33 steps from her soup restaurant at 56 East Andrews Drive. The juice bar joint will sell juices, of course, and house-made protein bars, and breakfast and take-out items.

What Now Atlanta reports that Justin Amick has filed for a City of Atlanta building permit for his new boutique bowling alley, set to open at 727 Miami Circle, a former furniture showroom. This will be the first solo venture for Amick, who is the son of acclaimed Atlanta restaurateur Bob Amick, the owner and founder of Concentrics Restaurants. The 23,000-square-foot Painted Pin bowling alley will have have 20 lanes, bocce ball courts, shuffleboard and pingpong, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Egg Harbor Cafe, a breakfast and lunch eatery with locations in Johns Creek and Sandy Springs already, will open its third Atlanta-area location in south Buckhead, according to Tomorrow's News Today. Egg Harbor will join Watershed on Peachtree and Saltyard as dining options in the Brookwood on Peacthree Road condominium building.
