Free Family-Friendly Meet the Sheep

The sheep are coming, and kudzu is on the menu! Trees Atlanta, in partnership with Chastain Park Conservancy, will host the event “Breakfast with the Sheep” to kick off a summer of invasive-plant-eating around Atlanta.

Trees Atlanta has hired a herd of hungry sheep to tackle acres of kudzu and English ivy that grow in Atlanta’s greenspaces, and the herd’s first stop is Chastain Park.

You are invited to meet a handful of the sheep, feed them, participate in arts and crafts, and learn why invasive plant removal is vital to a healthy urban forest.
