Walk, Wag N Run 5K + 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us for the Walk, Wag N Run as we help the human and animal victims of domestic volience reach safety together! 

Course Description: Course is a USATF certified 5k with overall elevation drop with down hill finish inside beautiful Lenox Park over the dam. Course flat to rolling hills on tree lined roads around the park. This race ia a 2014 Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

5k Run

Fee includes 5K Run, Tech T-Shirt for early bird registrants and a goodie bag. • $25 Early Bird through August 17 • $30 between August 18 and August 23 • $35 day of race

1 Mile Fun Run

Fee includes entry in 1 Mile Fun Run; Walk, Wag N’ Run T-Shirt and a goodie bag. • $15 anytime - Fun Run must register by August 17 at 5pm to get a t-shirt.

5K Run 7:30 am, 1 Mile Fun Run 8:45 am

On Friday, August 23 at the event site in Lenox Park between 5 pm and 8 pm, or on race day.

Park at 2180 Lake Blvd. NE, Atlanta, 30319 - Take I-85 to Exit 89 (North Druid Hills Rd) - Go north on North Druid Hills Rd NE - At the Y in the road, bear left onto E Roxboro Rd NE - After 0.6 miles, turn right onto Lake Blvd - Go 0.2 miles to the 2180 Building on your right after 0.2 miles

Course Description

Race starts on Lenox Park Blvd then loops to Roxboro Rd to Lake Blvd to Park Vista back to Lenox Park Blvd. Then enters beautiful Lenox Park with a nice downhill finish in the park. Course is USATF certified so finishing times can be used to qualify for the 2014 Peachtree Road Race.

Race Timing

New for 2013. Race will be timed with Mylaps bib tag chip timing. Awards will be based on USATF rule #245 so everyone will receive a gun start time with electronic chip timed finish time.

Additional Information

Awards for 5K Run: Prizes will be awarded to overalls, masters, and to the top female and male finishers in eight age groups. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Dogs crossing the finish line
