Internal Review of IHOP Incident Finds Officer Followed APD Rules, According to Reports

Probe completed in 10 days, according to WSB report cited by Atlanta Journal-Constitution

An Atlanta Police Department internal review has found that an off-duty officer followed departmental rules in a scuffle with women at a Buckhead IHOP,  according to a Channel 2 Action News report cited by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Customers in the restaurant shot video of the April 23 incident, which was posted on You Tube.

The APD police academy reviewed the videos posted on the Internet site as well as witness statements and the reports by the officers on the scene, the AJC story said. The review took 10 days, WSB-TV reported, according to the AJC.
