Day at Beach for Lovett Basketball Star
Sydney Umeri competing with USA Basketball's U16 Women's team
Lovett basketball standout Sydney Umeri and the rest of the USA Basketball U16 team enjoyed a day off this week from the 2011 FIBA Americas U16 championship in Merida, Mexico.
After beating Venezuela to remain undefeated, the team visited a local school in the morning and the beach in the afternoon.
The USA team beat Brazil 73-40 Saturday night to take the FIBA Americas U16 Championship. For details, see this link.
