The building, named in honor of the school’s founding headmaster, Alex Horsley, will house a full immersion program in French, German and Spanish for 3‐ and 4‐year‐olds and is scheduled to open in late August 2012, the Buckhead school said in an announcement. The site is located at 3438 Peachtree Ave., just across the street from the school’s Adair Art, Science and Design Center on the main campus.

The one‐story, residential‐scale Alex Horsley building will include eight classrooms with retractable walls, a large multipurpose room, offices, a small warming kitchen and conference facilities. All clasrooms will open to a large outdor play and educational green space. The building will be built to EarthCraft specifications.
