Ciannat Howett, director of sustainability at Emory, spoke at Westminster's commencement Saturday morning, as 197 members of the class of 2011 graduated. The graduation ceremony, under the direction of Westminster President Dr. William Clarkson IV, took place at the Turner Gymnasium at the school.
According to the school's website, Michael Thomas read the Scripture and Mary Otley delivered the prayer. Hilliard Burton read the Address of Welcome, and Maria Coyne gave a speech of appreciation to her classmates, faculty and families. The graduating class sang the Alma Mater before Jessica Gaudiosi closed the ceremony in prayer.
